Monday - Friday Morning/Noon Reporter  &  Fill in Anchor                                                              *General Assignment Live Reporter for FOX 8 News in the Morning: Every morning I write three VO-SOTs and then go live anywhere from 9 to 11 times each morning in our 4am-10am morning show. My stories include breaking news and crime, rain and snow storm coverage, sports coverage and politics.

*Noon Reporter: General assignment live shot reporter for our noon newscast. Sometimes this is the same story as morning, sometimes I’m moved to a different story.

*Sports Coverage: Sports is huge in Cleveland so I spend a of lot time covering Cleveland Cavs, Indians and Browns, including an Indians World Series run and three Cavs Finals Series, including a Championship with a Parade!

*Guest host on High School Football Friday Night every year

*Anchor: I anchor our Monday-Friday 4am-10am morning show when our morning anchor is off and I anchor our 7am-10am Weekend Morning show when our weekend morning anchor is off. I also solo anchor the 11am Sunday show when the anchor is off.

*Web Reporting: Almost daily I’m doing Facebook Lives from my story on our Fox 8 Facebook Page. I also upload photos onto my Twitter so they can add to my written web story.

Monday through Friday Morning & Midday Anchor

*Anchor News 12 this Morning: 5am-7am morning show which includes local, national and world news and local traffic. Solo anchor with meteorologist and two morning reporters. 

*Anchor News 12 Midday Show: 12:00-12:30pm. Half hour newscast that includes local, national and world news as well as monthly live interviews in studio.

*Writer News 12 Midday Show: After morning show and CBS cut-ins I work one on one with the Midday producer to write new stories and further along morning show stories.

*Reporter News 12: Responsible for stories throughout the year for morning & nightly newscasts. These include special assignment pieces, monthly “Give it 4ward” stories, weekly Getting Fit with Crystal segments, Children’s Miracle Network Stories and other General Assignment stories.

*Live-shot reporter for nightly newscasts when needed at events.

*Write and record daily news radio hits. The news headlines run on multiple radio stations throughout the day.

 

Web and Social Media               

*Responsible for managing and updating www.wrdw.com between 7am-11am with any news that come in- local, national, & world news.

*Run Facebook “Jessica Dill WRDW”, Twitter “Jessica WRDW” Administrator and help manage Station Facebook Pages: “WRDW-TV News12” and “News 12 This Morning” and Station Twitter: WRDW- TV News 12

*Anchor First Edition: the same weekday morning show I produced. Plan and conduct live community interviews aired on the morning show. 

*Medical reporter for the morning show. Shoot, write and edit community medical stories that air weekly.

*Manage First Edition page of Hometown Stations website and started and manage First Edition Facebook Page.
